Today my friend, Ronald, came to my house to work on the Literature project that have during the weekends. Just before he arrived, I went downstairs to play a little basketball as I felt really bored waiting for him.
When he arrived at the meeting point, which is the basketball court, he immediately dashed to me like a bull seeing red, and joined in the fun. I wanted to stop playing and go up to do the project but he tempted me, so as I could not resist the temptations, we continued playing till we are drenched in sweat.
After all the “slacking”, we went up to my house and worked on our project. It was really time consuming and hard work as Ronald was just playing with his phone and happily enjoying the air-conditioner. I somehow regretted taking him as a group member, he looked like so hardworking but he is a “slacker”, and because of this I really understand the meaning of never to judge a book by its cover.

Today is maybe one day of the year which I hate the most, the fire drill! Since primary five, I have always hated the fire drills because I feel that it is a bother to rush to the assembly area suddenly during lessons. The fire drill today is maybe the worst of all the fire drills. Upon hearing the alarm, I have to rush quickly to soccer field from the fourth storey and on the way there I had to squeeze with the other class as the stairs are rather narrow, and to make things worse, the fire drill is held in the afternoon when the Sun is directly above us.
Even though I am unhappy about the fire drill today, I really have quite some fun. After my class reached the assembly area, we quickly found a nice cool spot to sit down and “enjoy the sun tan”. It was a long wait before we were released, so my friends and I play a little game of “Truth or Dare “. The game was so fun that the long wait felt like a short one.

Today is a day filled with laughers and joy. It was my mother’s birthday, but I forgotten all about it until I heard some children from primary school singing the birthday song. At that time I was already reaching home and I do not even have a present or cake for my mother, and even worse my father even reminded me to buy a present for her this morning. Fortunately, I have some creativity, so I used some of my remaining tissue papers to make a paper flower.
Upon reaching home, I gave my “wonderful” present to my mother, gave her a peck on her cheek and wished her a happy birthday. When my mother received the present at first, she was shocked, but after regaining her composure she smiled said it is the best present she received. The present my father gave her, made her had the shock of her life; it was a bouquet of roses. I had a shocked too; my stingy father actually burnt a hole in his pocket to buy a bouquet of roses and a birthday cake for my mother!
We spent a very good time together singing the birthday song in different language like Chinese, English and even in Malay!
